information:
Arrosa was formed by Adam Cole (guitar/vocals), Andria Prudente (guitar/vocals), Daniel O’Connor (drums) and Fiona McCartney Hood (bass).
Bizarrely, this delicate and introspective act formed in and around Wollongong during the height of post-grunge and nu-metal's collective saturated gluttony. By 1997 they had moved to Melbourne in the hopes of finding a receptive audience, whether positive or simply tolerant.
The band went on to score a support slot for Yo La Tengo, as well as a live TV performance on the ABCs Recovery program.
Prior to the release of their debut LP, Arrosa broke up. This lost album remains shelved to this very day. The band shone very brightly for a very short time but were obliterated and forgotten in no less than 2 years.
